Our services cover the full range of regulated freight and trade compliance - from a single air shipment with complex documentation to an ongoing programme of consolidation, bonded warehousing, and customs management across multiple jurisdictions. Before we plan a route, we confirm the classification, the licensing requirements, and the documentation each shipment needs.
OUR SERVICES
FREIGHT FORWARDING & TRANSPORT
We move freight by air, ocean, and road - import and export - across the UK, EU, US, and beyond. Time-critical handling is a standard part of how we operate. For every movement, we plan the route, prepare the documentation, and communicate the status throughout.
Air / Ocean / Road freight
General cargo, express, FCL and LCL ocean shipments, and road freight across major trade lanes worldwide. Dangerous goods handled across most classifications. We cover UK, European, and US domestic haulage alongside international movements, coordinating multi-modal routing where the shipment requires it.
AOG & MRO
Our AOG desk operates 24/7 with direct access to uplift and last-mile delivery. MRO parts movements are serialised, traceable, and documented before anything ships. For ongoing maintenance programmes, we manage regular parts flows through consolidation and milk-run scheduling, reducing unnecessary handling events.
Out-of-gauge & project cargo
Heavy plant, capital equipment, and oversized components require routing decisions that standard freight planning doesn't accommodate. We assess mode, route, and handling requirements before the shipment is booked. Multi-modal combinations are planned as a single coordinated movement, with documentation and permits in place for each leg.
TRADE COMPLIANCE & CUSTOMS
Most freight delays originate in documentation errors and classification problems, not transport failures. We handle customs clearance in-house, with brokers who understand the regulatory requirements as well as the operational ones.
Customs clearance & brokerage
UK, EU, and US import and export declarations handled in-house. AEO-backed clearance means priority processing and reduced examination rates. We cover special regimes - bonded warehousing, inward and outward processing relief, customs warehousing, and transit procedures - as part of our standard operations.
Classification, duties, & documentation
HS and commodity code identification and review, including pre-shipment checks for complex or borderline goods. Import duty, VAT, and applicable relief calculations, with landed cost modelling available for procurement teams. Documentation prepared and checked: EUR.1, certificates of origin, supplier declarations, ATR certificates.
VAT and fiscal representation
For businesses importing into the EU without a local legal entity, we provide fiscal and VAT representation, managing the obligations that arise at the border and beyond. Particularly relevant for UK companies trading into the Single Market post-Brexit.
CONTROLLED GOODS & LICENSING
Export controls carry legal obligations and, in the event of non-compliance, serious consequences. We help clients establish which controls apply to their goods, identify the correct licence type, and maintain the documentation that ongoing compliance requires. Classification and licensing review before the first shipment.
Import & export licensing
We identify which licence applies — UK (SPIRE/OGEL/SIEL), EU (EU 2021/821), or US (EAR/ITAR) — and what the conditions are before the shipment is planned. We assist with licence applications and manage engagement with licensing authorities including ECJU, BAFA, DGA, and DTC/BIS.
Dual-use screening & ITAR support
Pre-shipment screening against UK, EU, and US dual-use control lists, with end-user checks and red-flag review as standard. For ITAR-controlled materials, we handle Category IV and XV components with the classification and technology transfer documentation those categories require.
Trade compliance reviews
Before a first shipment into a new market or under a new regulatory regime, we map the applicable controls, identify the documentation requirements, and set out the process. Finding a compliance gap at the planning stage is considerably less disruptive than finding one at the border.
WAREHOUSING & DISTRIBUTION
Our warehousing is designed for controlled, compliant handling — scan-based traceability from goods-in to dispatch, secure access, and the documentation discipline that regulated goods require. Storage is one part of it. The others are traceability, exception management, and a clean audit trail throughout.
Storage & bonded warehousing
Short and long-term storage across our facilities, equipped for regulated and high-value goods including dangerous goods across most classifications. Bonded and customs warehousing for duty-deferred stock, with controlled release and a full audit trail maintained throughout.
Freight consolidation
LTL and LCL volumes combined into fewer, better-planned departures. Goods-in checks, compatibility screening, and documentation review on receipt - so what goes onto the load is confirmed before it leaves. Reduces cost per shipment and handling events across regular flows.
Pick, pack & distribution
Order fulfilment, sequenced delivery, and just-in-time despatch managed from our facilities. Multi-supplier consolidation staged for onward distribution, with scan-based traceability from receipt to final delivery and 3PL coordination where the network requires it.
