Who We Are
OUR HISTORY
Clover has been moving sensitive, regulated and time-critical freight since 1993 - long before compliance became a logistics industry buzzword. What began as The Clover Shipping Company Ltd has grown into a logistics partner for clients in defence, security, aerospace and space, and the 2020 rebrand to Clover Group reflected that wider scope. We built our expertise where the consequences of getting it wrong are most severe, and three decades on, clients turn to us as a knowledge resource - not just for transport, but for regulatory understanding and strategic guidance.
From early on, we invested in the systems that let a specialist business operate at scale: warehouse control, freight management and asset tracking that rival far larger providers, while keeping us agile enough to respond fast. Today, with operational hubs in the UK, US and EU, that same founding mindset defines everything we do.
GROUP STRUCTURE
Clover Group brings together five specialist divisions, each focused on a different part of the supply chain. They share the same accreditations and the same compliance-first approach — so whichever division you work with, you're dealing with one Clover, accountable from start to finish.

For clients who'd rather hand the whole thing over. A dedicated team acts as your single point of contact across freight, customs and warehousing, managing the day-to-day so your people don't have to. One accountable partner from first enquiry to final delivery, with reporting aligned to how you actually work.

Specialist advice on the compliance side of logistics. We help clients classify goods correctly, screen for dual-use and ITAR/EAR controls, and work out the licensing they need before anything ships. A trade-compliance review at the planning stage means a clear path mapped out before your first movement.

Our founding business and core expertise. Three decades of moving sensitive, regulated and time-critical freight by air, sea and road - from AOG call-outs at 2am to multi-modal project cargo under transit documents. Customs brokerage, ITAR and licensing, defence and scientific handling, 3PL and just-in-time. If it's complex, controlled, or can't afford to sit at a border, this is the team that moves it.

Strategically located facilities across our operating regions, equipped for regulated and high-value goods - including dangerous-goods handling, controlled access and CCTV. Short- and long-term storage, bonded and transit options, pick, pack and just-in-time, plus freight consolidation for onward distribution. Every movement is scanned and tracked from goods-in to dispatch.

The proprietary backbone behind every Clover movement - the client Portal, online booking and tracking, and Compass, the in-house carbon-reporting platform that puts a CO₂ figure against every shipment. Built to integrate with your existing logistics and IT infrastructure, so visibility and ESG data arrive without bolting on another system.

OUR COMMITMENTS
At Clover Group, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations are integral to our identity. Our commitment to ESG is deeply rooted in every facet of our operations.
Sustainability is no longer optional - it's operational. Clover Group has embedded environmental responsibility into every layer of our logistics strategy:
Evertreen Reforestation Partnership: As part of our long-term climate action plan, Clover actively supports reforestation through our ongoing partnership with Evertreen. Every year, we plant new trees around the globe to offset emissions and support biodiversity, with real-time updates and impact tracking publicly shared in our reports and communications.
CO₂ Reporting Tool (Launching 2026): Clover's in-house Portal system will soon feature an integrated CO₂ tracking and reporting module, allowing clients to monitor the environmental impact of every shipment. This tool will empower clients to make greener choices and align their supply chains with sustainability goals.
Smart Routing & Electric Fleet Investment: We continuously optimise routes to reduce fuel use and emissions - and weʼre investing in the progressive transition to an all-electric fleet for local and regional deliveries. Our directors and senior team lead by example, choosing sustainable travel options and supporting policy alignment with environmental best practices.
Clover's environmental actions are not just pledges - they're measurable, auditable, and growing every year.
People are the heart of Clover Group. Our commitment to social responsibility is built on inclusion, equity, and shared success:
A Diverse, Multinational Workforce: With teams across the UK, EU, and US, Clover thrives on diverse cultural perspectives and shared expertise. We celebrate difference, foster respect, and build bridges between industries, sectors, and nations.
Investment in People: Each year, Clover reinvests at least 10% of staffing costs into training and development - ensuring our team remains among the most capable in the industry. All operations and driving staff are security-cleared, professionally trained, and supported in their career growth.
Community Engagement: From mentorship initiatives to knowledge-sharing forums, we actively support the broader logistics ecosystem and local communities through collaboration and contribution.
We operate in some of the world's most regulated industries - and we hold ourselves to those same high standards internally.
Compliance is Non-Negotiable: From ITAR to dual-use regulations and internal audits, compliance is embedded into our daily operations. Our proprietary systems are designed to ensure traceability, data integrity, and audit-readiness across the supply chain.
Transparent, Accountable Leadership: Governance at Clover is proactive, not reactive. We foster a culture of accountability, ethical business practice, and long-term trust with stakeholders at every level.
Digital Control, Human Oversight: Our in-house systems provide visibility and control - but it's our people who ensure decisions are made with integrity, clarity, and foresight.
